How Do I Stretch an Image in Photoshop CC?

In Photoshop CC, there are a few different ways to stretch an image. One way is to use the Free Transform tool.

With the Free Transform tool selected, click and drag one of the corner handles of the image. As you drag the handle, the image will stretch in that direction. You can also hold down the Shift key while dragging a corner handle to constrain the proportions of the image, so it doesn’t get distorted as you stretch it.

Another way to stretch an image is to use the Scale command. With the Scale command, you can enter specific values for Width and Height, which allows for more precise control over how much the image is stretched.

To add a border to an image, select the layer in the Layers panel and then click on the Add Layer Style button at the bottom of the panel. In the Layer Style dialog box, select Stroke from the list of options and then change the Size and Color options to suit your needs.

When stretching an image or adding a border, it’s important to keep in mind how these changes will affect the overall composition of your design. Make sure that the final result looks balanced and pleasing to the eye.
