How do I sync InVision and sketch?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 9:22 pm

Sketching is a great way to ideate, plan, and create visuals. However, it can be difficult to keep your InVision project synchronized with your Sketch project.

Sync is important because you want to make sure that your visuals are always up-to-date. Sync can be done manually or through a tool.

Manually Syncing InVision and Sketch

If you want to sync your InVision and Sketch projects manually, you can use the InVision file inspector to copy and paste visuals between the two applications. This is a time-consuming process, and it can be difficult to keep track of which visuals belong to which project.

PRO TIP: In order to sync InVision and Sketch, you will need to make sure that both applications are open and running on the same device. Additionally, you will need to be logged into the same account in both applications. Once you have verified that both applications are open and running, you can click on the “Sync” button located in the top right-hand corner of the InVision application.

If you want to use InVision as your main design tool and Sketch as your secondary tool, you can use a tool like Assemble. Assemble allows you to sync your InVision and Sketch projects automatically.

Additionally, Assemble allows you to export your InVision files as Sketch files, which makes it easier to share your visuals with other designers.

Using a Tool to Sync InVision and Sketch

There are a number of tools that allow you to sync your InVision and Sketch projects automatically. One of the most popular tools is Assemble.

Assemble allows you to sync your InVision and Sketch projects automatically, export your InVision files as Sketch files, and more.
