As the owner of an online store, you’re always looking for ways to get more traffic and conversions. And what better way to do that than by integrating your WooCommerce store with Facebook?
By syncing your WooCommerce store with Facebook, you can take advantage of the massive reach and engagement that Facebook has to offer. Not to mention, it’s a great way to build social proof and increase trust with potential customers.
So how do you sync WooCommerce with Facebook? Let’s take a look at the steps you need to take:
- Install the Facebook for WooCommerce Plugin
The first thing you need to do is install and activate the Facebook for WooCommerce plugin. For more information, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.
Once the plugin is activated, you need to connect your WooCommerce store to your Facebook account. To do that, go to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration and click on the Connect with Facebook button.
- Connect Your WooCommerce Store to Your Facebook Account
You’ll be taken to a new page where you need to enter your Facebook login details. Once you’re logged in, you’ll be asked to grant permissions for the plugin to access your account. Simply click on the OK button to continue. After that, you’ll need to select a page for the plugin to work with.
If you don’t have a Facebook page for your business yet, then you can create one by clicking on the Create Page button. Once you’ve selected a page, click on the Continue as [Your Page Name]. You’ll be taken back to your WordPress admin area where you’ll see a message saying that your accounts are now connected.
- Start Syncing Products from Your WooCommerce Store
Now that your accounts are connected, it’s time to start syncing products from your WooCommerce store. To do that, go back to WooCommerce > Settings > Integration . From here, select which products you want to sync and how often you want them synced.
Once you’ve made your selection, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.
And that’s it! You’ve successfully synced your WooCommerce store with Facebook!
As we mentioned earlier, one of the benefits of syncing your store with Facebook is social proof. When potential customers see that other people have bought products from your store, they’re more likely than not going buy something as well.
If you haven’t already, we recommend setting up some sort of < b style="color:red;">Facebook pixel b>. A pixel is a piece of code that allows you track conversions and remarket products to people who have visited your store.
