How Do I Test WooCommerce With PayPal Sandbox?

If you’re running a WooCommerce store, chances are you’re using PayPal to process payments. In order to make sure everything is working correctly, you’ll want to test your store with the PayPal Sandbox.

The PayPal Sandbox is a simulated environment that allows you to test your store’s PayPal integration without actually processing any real payments.

To get started, you’ll need to create a PayPal Sandbox account. You can do this by logging in to your regular PayPal account and then going to the developer site at https://developer.PayPal.com/. Once you’re logged in, click on the “Dashboard” link in the top menu.

On the Dashboard page, click on the “Accounts” tab and then click on the “Create Account” button. On the next page, select “Business” as the account type and then enter your store’s name in the “Company Name” field. For the “Email Address” field, enter an email address that you have access to – this will be used as the login for your Sandbox account.

Once you’ve entered all of the required information, click on the “Create Account” button. You should now see your new Sandbox account listed under the “Accounts” tab.

Now that you have a Sandbox account set up, you’ll need to add a few products to your WooCommerce store so that you can test the checkout process. To do this, log in to your WordPress Dashboard and go to the “Products” page. Click on the “Add New” button and enter some basic information about your product, such as the name, price, and description.

Once you’ve added a few products to your store, go to the WooCommerce settings page and click on the “Payments” tab. On this page, you’ll see a list of all of the payment methods that are available for WooCommerce. Find PayPal in this list and click on the “Settings” link.

On the PayPal settings page, scroll down to the “Sandbox Settings” section and check the box next to “Enable PayPal Sandbox”. Once you’ve done this, enter your Sandbox account email address in the “Sandbox Email Address” field and click on the “Save Changes” button.

You should now be able to test your WooCommerce store with PayPal Sandbox! To do this, add some products to your cart and go through the checkout process.

When you get to the payment step, select PayPal as your payment method and log in with your Sandbox account credentials. Once you’ve completed the payment process, you should see a confirmation message indicating that it was successful.
