How do I transfer from Namecheap to Cloudflare?

Last updated on September 24, 2022 @ 6:49 pm

If you’re looking to transfer your Namecheap account to Cloudflare, the process is relatively straightforward. First, you’ll need to sign in to your Namecheap account. From there, you’ll need to navigate to the “Account” section of your account. From here, you’ll need to select the “Settings” tab, and then the “Account Settings” link.

PRO TIP: If you are looking to transfer your domain name from Namecheap to Cloudflare, please be aware that there is no automated way to do this. You will need to manually update your DNS records with Cloudflare in order to complete the transfer. Be sure to back up your current DNS records before making any changes.

From here, you’ll need to select the “Account Transfer” button. Next, you’ll need to provide the information necessary to transfer your account, including your Namecheap login credentials and the domain name you want to transfer your account to. Once you’ve completed the transfer process, you’ll be able to access your new Cloudflare account from the “Account” section of your Namecheap account. Finally, make sure to update your DNS settings to point to your new Cloudflare account.
