How Do I Turn Off WooCommerce Notice?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 1:20 pm

If you’re using WooCommerce to run your online store, you may have noticed the notices that appear at the top of the screen when you’re logged in to the backend. These notices are designed to keep you informed about important updates and changes, but they can also be a bit of a nuisance if you’re trying to focus on other tasks. Fortunately, it’s easy to disable these notices if you need to.

Here’s how to turn off WooCommerce notices:

1. Log in to your WordPress site and go to the WooCommerce > Settings page.
2. On the Settings page, select the Advanced tab and then click on Notifications.
3.

PRO TIP: If you are using WooCommerce to sell products on your WordPress site, you may have noticed the yellow “WooCommerce Notice” box that appears at the top of your admin pages. This notice is designed to alert you to important updates and information about WooCommerce, but it can be annoying if you don’t want to see it every time you log in to your site.

Fortunately, there is a way to turn off this notice. Just add the following code to your theme’s functions.php file:

add_filter( ‘woocommerce_admin_notice_enabled’, ‘__return_false’ );

Now when you log in to your WordPress site, the WooCommerce Notice will no longer appear.

You’ll see a list of all the different types of notices that can be displayed. To disable a notice, simply click on the toggle next to it so that it changes from Yes to No.
4. Once you’ve made your changes, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page.

And that’s all there is to it! Disabling WooCommerce notices is a quick and easy way to declutter your admin screen and make sure you’re only seeing the information that you need.
