Google Cloud Messaging is a messaging service that allows you to send and receive messages from other Google Cloud users. To turn on Google Cloud Messaging on your Android device, first open the Google Play Store and search for “Google Cloud Messaging.” Tap the Google Cloud Messaging app icon to open it. In the app’s main screen, tap the “Settings” button. Under “Messaging,” tap “Enable.” Tap “Send messages” to start using Google Cloud Messaging. To receive messages, open the Google Cloud Messaging app and tap the “Messages” tab. Under “Incoming messages,” tap the sender’s name to open their message.

PRO TIP: Warning: Turning on Google Cloud Messaging may allow Google and third-party applications to send you notifications and messages. This could result in increased battery usage and data charges.

To reply to a message, open the message and tap the “Reply” button. To delete a message, open the message and tap the “Delete” button. To mute a message, open the message and tap the “Mute” button. To stop receiving messages, open the Google Cloud Messaging app and tap the “Messages” tab. Under “Incoming messages,” tap the “Disable” button. To stop sending messages, open the Google Cloud Messaging app and tap the “Send messages” button. To learn more about Google Cloud Messaging, visit the Google Cloud Messaging website.
