How do I upload a PDF to Weebly?

If you have a PDF document that you would like to upload to Weebly, you can do so by following these steps:

1. Open the PDF document in your computer’s browser.

2. Click the “File” menu and select “Export.”

3. Select the “PDF/A” format from the drop-down menu and click “Export.”

4. Enter a file name for the PDF document in the “File name” field and click “Export.”

5. Click the “Save” button to save the PDF document to your computer.

6. Open the “PDF/A” file that you just exported from your computer.

7. Click the “Document Properties” tab.

8. Click the “Profile” drop-down menu and select “Weebly.”

9. Click the “Settings” button and enter the following information:

  • Site address: the URL of your Weebly site.
  • Profile name: the name of the Weebly profile to which the PDF document will be uploaded.
  • Password: the password for the profile that you just entered.

10. Click the “OK” button to save the changes that you made to the document properties.

11. Click the “Upload” button and select the “PDF/A” format from the drop-down menu.

12. Enter the file name for the PDF document in the “File name” field and click “Upload.”

13. Click the “Preview” button to view the PDF document on your Weebly site.

14. Click the “Upload” button to upload the PDF document to your Weebly site.

15. Click the “OK” button to save the PDF document to your Weebly site.

16. Click the “Cancel” button to cancel the upload process.

17. Click the “Close” button to close the document properties tab.

18. Click the “Exit” button to return to the main Weebly site.

19. Click the “Menu” button and select “Blog.”

20. Click the “New Post” button and fill in the following information:

  • Title: The title of your new post.
  • Body: The body of your new post.
  • Published: Set this to “Yes” to publish the post immediately.
PRO TIP: Weebly does not currently support PDF uploading. If you attempt to upload a PDF, you will receive an error message.

21. Click the “Publish” button to publish your new post.

22. Click the “Menu” button and select “Pages.”

23. Click the “Create Page” button and fill in the following information:

  • Title: The title of your new page.
  • Description: The description of your new page.
  • Published: Set this to “Yes” to publish the page immediately.

24. Click the “Publish” button to publish your new page.

25. Click the “Menu” button and select “About.”

26. Click the “Edit Profile” button and fill in the following information:

  • Name: The name of the Weebly user who created the profile.
  • Email: The email address of the Weebly user who created the profile.
  • Website: The URL of the Weebly site of the Weebly user who created the profile.

27. Click the “Save” button to save the changes that you made to the profile.

28. Click the “Menu” button and select “Settings.”

29. Click the “Privacy” button and fill in the following information:

  • allow public access to personal pages: Check this box to allow anyone to view your personal pages on the Weebly site.
  • allow public access to my pages: Check this box to allow anyone to view your pages on the Weebly site.
  • allow public access to my pages and posts: Check this box to allow anyone to view your pages and posts on the Weebly site.

30. Click the “Close” button to close the settings tab.
