How Do I Upload a Word Document to Wix?

There are a few different ways that you can upload a Word document to your Wix site. The first and most common way is to simply drag and drop the file into the editor. You can also click the ‘+Add’ button in the editor and select ‘Upload File’ from the drop-down menu.

If you want to upload a document to your site but don’t want it to be visible on the page, you can add it to your site’s ‘Files’ section. To do this, go to your site’s dashboard and click ‘Add > More > Files’.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Wix, we recommend that you ask someone who is to help you upload your Word document. Otherwise, you may not be able to properly format your document or maintain its original formatting.

Once you’ve added the file to your site, you can link to it from anywhere on your site. Just click the ‘+Add’ button and select ‘Link’ from the drop-down menu. In the ‘Link URL’ field, type in or paste the URL of the document you want to link to.

If you want to embed a document on your page, click the ‘+Add’ button and select ‘Embed Code’ from the drop-down menu. Paste your document’s embed code into the box that appears and click ‘OK’.
