How do I upload files to GoDaddy cPanel?

Last updated on September 25, 2022 @ 4:49 pm

Uploading files to GoDaddy cPanel can be done in a few different ways. The most common way is to use the file manager provided by GoDaddy.

This file manager can be accessed by clicking on the “File Manager” link on the main cPanel page.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with cPanel, we recommend that you contact GoDaddy support for assistance with uploading files. Incorrectly uploading files to your cPanel can result in website downtime or data loss.

Once the file manager is open, you can browse to the file you want to upload and click on the “Upload” button. This will open the default file upload form. The most important part of this form is the “Files To Upload” section.

Here you will need to specify the name and location of the file you are uploading. You can also specify a file size limit if you need to.

After you have uploaded the file, you can click on the “Complete Upload” button to finish the process.
