Adobe Photoshop Elements 7 is a program that allows users to edit photos and create graphics. The program has a variety of features that make it a powerful tool for both novice and experienced users.

The first thing you need to do before you can start using Photoshop Elements 7 is to install the program on your computer. Once you have installed the program, you will need to launch it.
To do this, double-click on the program’s icon which should be located on your desktop or in your start menu. Once the program has launched, you will see a window that looks similar to the image below.
The main area of the Photoshop Elements 7 window is taken up by the workspace. This is where you will do most of your work when using the program.
On the left side of the workspace, there is a toolbar that contains a variety of different tools that can be used to edit photos or create graphics. On the right side of the workspace, there are a number of different panels that contain various options and settings. We’ll take a more detailed look at both the toolbar and the panels in future articles.

Editing Photos
One of the most popular features of Photoshop Elements 7 is its ability to edit photos. The program offers a variety of different tools that can be used to modify photos in a number of different ways.
If you’re not careful, you can easily end up with an image that looks nothing like the original. So, if you’re not sure how to use this software, please take some time to learn the basics before you start using it.
Cropping
Cropping is a simple but effective way to improve your photos. Cropping allows you to remove unwanted parts of an image and focus on the subject matter.
To crop an image in Photoshop Elements 7, select the Crop tool from the toolbar on the left side of the workspace. Then, click and drag on the image to select the area you want to keep. When you’re satisfied with your selection, press Enter (Windows) or Return (Mac) on your keyboard.
Resizing
Resizing allows you to change the dimensions of an image. This can be useful if you need to fit an image into a specific space or if you want to change its aspect ratio.
To resize an image in Photoshop Elements 7, select the Image Size command from the Image menu at the top of the workspace. A dialog box will appear.
In this dialog box, you can enter new values for Width and Height or you can choose one of the preset values from the drop-down menu next to Resample Image. When you’re finished making changes, click OK.
