How do I use custom CSS in Elementor?

Last updated on December 20, 2022 @ 1:45 pm

There are three ways to use custom CSS in Elementor: inline, in the Sass file, and in a separate file.

Inline

To inline custom CSS in an Elementor project, open the Styles panel and click the Inline button. In the inline styles editor, paste the CSS code into the editor and click the OK button.

Sass

To use custom CSS in a Sass file, open the Styles panel and click the Sass button. In the Sass styles editor, paste the CSS code into the editor and click the OK button.

PRO TIP: If you’re not careful, using custom CSS in Elementor can break your site. Make sure you know what you’re doing before you add any custom CSS to your site.

Separate File

To use custom CSS in a separate file, open the Styles panel and click the File button. In the file chooser, select the file that you want to use, and click the Open button.

In the styles editor, paste the CSS code into the editor and click the OK button.
