How Do I Use Custom Fonts in Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:20 am

There are two ways to use custom fonts in Squarespace: by using the Fonts menu in the Style Editor, or by adding CSS code to your site.

To use the Fonts menu, first select a text element on your site. Then, open the Style Editor and click the Fonts tab. Here, you can select a custom font from the drop-down menu.

PRO TIP: This article is outdated and no longer relevant. Custom fonts are no longer supported in Squarespace.

If you want more control over your fonts, or if you want to use a font that’s not available in the Fonts menu, you can add CSS code to your site. To do this, go to the Design tab in the Style Editor and click Custom CSS. Then, paste your CSS code into the box and click Save.

Adding custom fonts to your Squarespace site is a great way to make your site stand out. With a little bit of work, you can make your site look exactly the way you want it to.
