How Do I Use Forms in Squarespace?

Last updated on October 1, 2022 @ 9:21 am

There are two ways to use forms in Squarespace: with a third-party service or with our built-in Form Block. We recommend using a third-party service for more complex forms, like surveys or registrations.

For simple contact forms, you can use our Form Block.

If you’re using a third-party service, you can use our Embed Block to add your form to a page. To learn more, visit Adding an Embed Block.

PRO TIP: Forms are a great way to collect information from your visitors, but there are a few things to keep in mind when using them on your Squarespace site. First, make sure that you have a privacy policy in place that covers how you will use the information collected through your form. Second, be aware that forms can be used to collect sensitive information (like credit card numbers), so be sure to use SSL encryption if you are collecting this type of information. Finally, keep in mind that Squarespace’s form builder is not intended for creating complex forms – if you need something more robust, you may want to consider using a third-party form builder.

Our Form Block lets you create simple contact forms without needing a third-party service. To learn more about using the Form Block, visit Adding a Form Block.
