Google Maps is a powerful tool that can be used to help you create custom map images for your website or blog. Canva also has a built-in Google Maps tool that makes it easy to create stunning map images. In this article, we’ll show you how to use both tools to create beautiful map images.

The first step is to head over to Google Maps and find the location that you want to use for your map image. Once you’ve found the location, zoom in as far as you can.

Then, click on the “Satellite” view. This will give you the best-quality image for your map.

Next, head over to Canva and create a new design. Select the “Custom Dimensions” option and enter the width and height of your desired image. For this example, we’ll use 1000×1000 pixels.

PRO TIP: Google Maps is a great tool for finding directions and maps, but it can be tricky to use in Canva. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. Make sure you have the latest version of Canva installed. Older versions may not work with Google Maps.

2. When adding a map to your design, be sure to resize it so that all the important details are visible. Otherwise, your map may be cut off or distorted.

3. Be aware that Google Maps can take a while to load, especially if you’re using a slow internet connection. If possible, try to work offline or in an area with good reception.

Once your design is set up, click on the “Maps” button in the left-hand sidebar. This will bring up a selection of different map images that you can use. Find the image that closely resembles the location that you’re trying to depict and click on it.

Now, all you need to do is position and resize your map image so that it fills up your entire design space. Once you’re happy with how it looks, download your image and upload it to your website or blog.

Creating stunning map images for your website or blog is easy with Canva and Google Maps.
