Gridlines are an important part of any design, and they’re especially important in Canva. By default, every Canva layout has gridlines to help you line up your elements perfectly.
However, there are times when you may want to hide the gridlines or change their color. Here’s how:
To hide gridlines:
1. Click the View menu at the top of the Canva editor.
2.
Select Gridlines.
3. Click None.
To change gridline color:
1. Click the color you want.
Gridlines are a vital tool for any designer in Canva, helping to keep elements aligned and spaced correctly. Hiding or changing the color of gridlines can be done with just a few clicks.
1. To add gridlines to your design, first select the ‘Layout’ tab at the top of the editor.
2. Next, click on the ‘Gridlines’ option in the left-hand sidebar.
3. You’ll then be able to choose how many gridlines you want to add, as well as the spacing between them.
4. Once you’ve added your gridlines, you can use them as a guide for aligning elements in your design. Simply click and drag an element to snap it into place on the nearest gridline.
5. You can also use gridlines to create equal-sized columns or rows in your design. To do this, simply click on one of the gridline options in the left-hand sidebar and then click and drag to create a new column or row.
6. Keep in mind that you can always adjust the number of gridlines and their spacing by selecting the ‘Layout’ tab and then clicking on ‘Gridlines’ in the sidebar
