How Do I Use My Weebly Domain Name for Free?

If you have a Weebly domain name, you can use it for free as long as you keep your Weebly account active. Simply login to your Weebly account and click on the “Settings” tab. From there, scroll down to the “Domain” section and click on the “Change Domain” button.

Enter your Weebly domain name in the box and click the “Update Domain” button. That’s it! Your Weebly domain name is now pointing to your Weebly website.

If you want to use your Weebly domain name with another service, such as Google Apps or WordPress, you will need to set up a custom DNS record. To do this, login to your Weebly account and click on the “Settings” tab. From there, scroll down to the “Domain” section and click on the “Advanced DNS Settings” link.

In the “A Records” section, add a new record with the following values:

Host: @

Points To: IP Address of other service

TTL: 3600

In the “CNAME Records” section, add a new record with the following values:

Host: www

Points To: other-service.com

TTL: 3600

Be sure to replace “other-service.com” with the actual domain name of the other service you are using. Once you have added these records, click on the “Save DNS Settings” button at the bottom of the page. It may take up to 24 hours for these changes to propagate.

To use your Weebly domain name for free, simply login to your Weebly account and click on the “Settings” tab.
