If you’re running a WooCommerce store, you’ll need to choose a payment gateway. This is the service that actually processes your customers’ payments.
You can choose from a number of different payment gateway providers, but we recommend using Stripe. In this article, we’ll show you how to set up Stripe as your payment gateway in WooCommerce.
First, you’ll need to sign up for a Stripe account. You can do this by going to their website and entering your email address.
Once you’ve done that, you’ll be given a set of instructions on how to verify your account and set up your first Stripe account. After you’ve done that, you’ll be able to log in to your account and access your Stripe dashboard.
Once you’re logged in, go to the “Settings” tab and click on “Payment Gateways.” Here, you should see a list of all the available payment gateway providers. Find “Stripe” on the list and click on the “Enable” button next to it.
Now that Stripe is enabled as your payment gateway, you’ll need to configure it. To do this, go to the “Stripe” tab in the left-hand sidebar of your dashboard and click on “Settings.”
On this page, you’ll need to enter your live secret key and publishable key. These keys are available in your Stripe dashboard under the “API Keys” tab.
Once you’ve entered your keys, scroll down and make sure that the “Enable Test Mode” box is unchecked. This will ensure that actual payments are processed when customers make a purchase on your WooCommerce store. Finally, click on the “Save Changes” button at the bottom of the page.
Your Stripe payment gateway is now set up and ready to use!
