In Photoshop, the Move Tool is used to move selections, layers, and guides. You can access the Move Tool by selecting it from the Tools panel or by pressing the V key on your keyboard.

To move a selection, layer, or guide, simply click on it and drag it to the desired location. You can also use the arrow keys on your keyboard to nudge a selection, layer, or guide in small increments.

If you want to move a selection within a layer, you can use the Move Tool to click and drag the selection. Alternatively, you can use the arrow keys to nudge the selection. To move a layer within an image, click and drag the layer in the Layers panel.

PRO TIP: The Move tool in Photoshop can be used to move layers, selections, and points. However, if you use the Move tool to move a layer or selection, the layer or selection will be moved on the layer mask or in the image. If you use the Move tool to move a point, the point will be moved on the path.

The Move Tool also has some handy features that can be accessed from the Options bar. For example, you can choose to auto-select a layer when you click on it with the Move Tool. This is useful if you want to quickly move a layer without having to select it in the Layers panel first.

You can also choose to show or hide various types of objects when using the Move Tool. For example, you may want to only see selections when moving them around. Or you may want to see both selections and layers when moving them.

Finally, you can use the Move Tool to change the stacking order of layers in an image. Simply click on a layer and drag it up or down in the Layers panel to change its position.
