WooCommerce is a powerful eCommerce tool that helps you turn your WordPress site into an online store. Divi is a popular WordPress theme that comes with a built-in page builder tool. In this article, we will show you how to use WooCommerce with Divi to create your own online store.
Installing WooCommerce
First thing you need to do is install and activate the WooCommerce plugin. For more details, see our step by step guide on how to install a WordPress plugin.
Once you activate the plugin, you will be redirected to the WooCommerce setup wizard. You will be asked to choose your industry, select the type of products you plan to sell, and set up some basic tax and shipping options.
WooCommerce will then automatically generate some pages for you including the shop page, cart page, checkout page, and my account page. You can visit these pages to see how they look on your site.
If you want to change the default WooCommerce settings, then you can visit the WooCommerce » Settings page to configure them. We will discuss more advanced settings later in this article.
Adding Products in WooCommerce
WooCommerce makes it easy to add products to your online store. You can add simple products, variable products, digital products, external/affiliate products, and group products.
To add a new product, go to WooCommerce » Products » Add New.
You will be redirected to the product edit screen where you need to provide some basic information about your product.
Start by entering a product name and description.
Then scroll down to the ‘Product Data’ section and select a product type from the dropdown menu.
