How Do I Use Zapier With Squarespace?

Zapier is an online automation tool that connects your Squarespace account with over 1,000 other web applications. You can use Zapier to automate tasks such as adding new Squarespace customers to a Mailchimp mailing list, sending Squarespace form submissions to a Google Spreadsheet, or backing up new Squarespace orders to Dropbox. Zapier makes it easy to automate tedious tasks that would otherwise take up valuable time.

To get started with using Zapier and Squarespace, you’ll first need to create a Zap. For this example, we’ll show how to add new Squarespace customers to a Mailchimp mailing list.

Once you’ve created your Zap, you’ll be asked to choose a Trigger. This is the action that will start your automation. For our example, we’ll choose New Customer from the Squarespace options.

Next, you’ll be asked to choose an Action. This is the task that will be performed automatically once the trigger is activated. For our example, we’ll choose Create Subscriber from the Mailchimp options.

You’ll then be asked to connect your Squarespace and Mailchimp accounts. If you haven’t already done so, you’ll need to enter your account credentials for each service. Once you’ve connected your accounts, you can test the connection to make sure everything is working properly.

The last step is to configure the action. This is where you’ll specify what information from Squarespace should be added to your Mailchimp mailing list. For our example, we’ll map the customer’s email address and name fields from Squarespace to the corresponding fields in Mailchimp.
