Domain verification is a process by which you can confirm that the domain name you are attempting to register is available and is not already in use. To verify your domain name, follow these steps:

Step 1: Click on the “My Account” tab on the Namecheap website.

Step 2: On the My Account page, click on the “Domains” tab.

PRO TIP: If you are verifying your domain name on namecheap, please be aware that this process may take up to 48 hours. Additionally, please be sure to have all required information and documentation ready before beginning the verification process.

Step 3: On the Domains page, under the “Domains” heading, click on the “Verify” link.

Step 4: On the Verify Domain page, you will be prompted to enter the domain name you are trying to verify. You will also be asked to provide some information about the domain, such as its registration date and owner.

If the domain name you are trying to verify is available and the information you provided is accurate, you will be able to see a green “Verified” badge next to the domain name. If the domain name is not available, or the information you provided is not accurate, you will be able to see a red “Verification Required” badge next to the domain name.
