If you have a Squarespace account and want to use Google Workspace with your domain, you can verify your domain through Squarespace. Verifying your domain allows you to use Google services with your Squarespace account, like email, Drive, and Calendar. You can also set up Single Sign-On (SSO) so that you can sign in to your Google Workspace account through Squaresspace.

To verify your domain on Squarespace:

    1. Log in to your Squarespace account and go to the Domains panel.

    2. Click the verified domain that you want to use with Google Workspace. If you haven’t verified your domain yet, click + Add Domain.

    3. Under Domain Settings, click DNS & Verification.

    4. Next to Google Workspace, click Verify Domain.

    5. Enter the verification code that Google provided, then click Verify Domain.

    6. If you see the message “Domain verified,” click Continue. If you see a message saying that the verification failed, check the troubleshooting tips below and try again.

Troubleshooting tips

If you see a message saying that the verification failed, try these tips:

  • Make sure that you entered the correct verification code from Google.
  • If you have multiple domains on your account, make sure that you’re verifying the correct domain.
  • Make sure that you’re logged in to the correct Squarespace account.
PRO TIP: If you are verifying your Google Workspace domain on Squarespace, be aware that this will give Squarespace access to your Google account. Squarespace will be able to read, send, and delete emails from your account, as well as view and manage your contacts.
