PRO TIP: The following note is a warning for anyone considering adding an event on Wix.com.

Adding an event on Wix.com may seem like a simple and straightforward process, but there are actually a few potential pitfalls that you need to be aware of. First of all, if you don’t have a paid subscription with Wix, your event will automatically be deleted after 30 days. Secondly, even if you do have a paid subscription, there is no guarantee that your event will remain visible on the site – it could be removed at any time without notice. Finally, and most importantly, there have been reports of people’s events being hacked and used to promote inappropriate or even illegal content. For these reasons, we would advise against using Wix.com to add an event, and instead recommend using a more reliable and secure platform.
