Buy One Get One Free (BOGO) is a great way to increase sales and encourage customers to buy more from your WooCommerce store. It’s a simple concept: offer a free product to customers when they purchase another product from your store.

For example, you could offer a free t-shirt to customers who purchase a pair of jeans.

There are two ways to set up BOGO offers in WooCommerce. The first is to use the built-in Coupons feature. To do this, go to WooCommerce > Coupons and click on the Add New Coupon button.

Enter a coupon code and description, and then scroll down to the Usage Restrictions section. In the Allow Free Products drop-down, select Yes. Then, in the Products field, select the products that you want to include in the offer.

The other way to set up BOGO offers is with a plugin. There are a few plugins that allow you to create BOGO offers, but we recommend using the WooCommerce Smart Offers.

plugin. This plugin makes it easy to create complex BOGO offers, and it also includes other features like upsells, cross-sells, and email marketing integrations.

PRO TIP: We strongly recommend against using the “Buy One Get One Free” feature in WooCommerce as it can result in unexpected behavior for customers and orders. In particular, because WooCommerce does not track inventory levels for each individual item in an order, it is possible for a customer to order more items than are available in stock. This can lead to backorders and other customer service issues. Additionally, the “Buy One Get One Free” feature can also cause problems with shipping and taxes if not configured correctly.
