How Do You Add Dust Particles in Photoshop?

Adding dust particles to an image in Photoshop is a great way to add some extra interest and realism. There are a few different ways to go about doing this, but the easiest way is to use a brush.

There are two main types of brushes that can be used for this: a standard brush, or a particle brush. A standard brush will just create a single dust particle, while a particle brush will create multiple particles at once.

To use a standard brush, first create a new layer. Then, select the brush tool and choose a small, soft-edged brush.

Next, set the foreground color to white and the background color to black. Finally, click on the image where you want to add the dust particle and release the mouse button.

Both of these methods will work well for adding dust particles to an image. Experiment with both and see which one you prefer.

PRO TIP: When adding dust particles in Photoshop, be sure to use a layer mask so that you can easily remove the particles if they are too heavy or if you don’t like the way they look. Also, be sure to use a low opacity brush so that the particles don’t look too fake.
