In this tutorial we’re going to show you how to animate individual elements in Canva.

If you’re not familiar with Canva, it’s a free online design tool that’s perfect for creating simple designs and graphics. It’s also super easy to use, which is why we love it!

In order to animate your elements in Canva, first you’ll need to create a design. For this example, we’re going to create a simple graphic with three circles. Once you have your design created, click on the ‘Animations’ tab in the top menu.

Now, you’ll see a list of all the elements in your design. To animate an element, simply click on it and then select the ‘Animate’ option from the drop-down menu. You can then choose how you want your element to be animated.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful, animating individual elements in Canva can lead to a jarring and disjointed animation. Make sure that the motion of each element is fluid and complementary to the other elements on the canvas.

There are four animation options available:

  • Fade In: This will make your element appear gradually from nothing.
  • Fade Out: This will make your element disappear gradually until it’s gone.
  • Appear: This will make your element appear instantly.
  • Disappear: This will make your element disappear instantly.

Once you’ve selected your animation, you can also choose when you want it to happen by setting a ‘delay.’ This is the amount of time (in seconds) that will pass before your animation starts.

And that’s all there is to animating individual elements in Canva! We hope you found this tutorial helpful.
