There are many ways to create a text slideshow in Squarespace. One way is to use the Slideshow block. With this block, you can add images and text to slides, and then set the order in which they appear.
To add a Slideshow block:
1. In the Home Menu, click Pages. 2. Hover over the page where you want to add the Slideshow block and click Edit. 3. In the Blocks panel, click the + icon. 4. Scroll down and click Slideshow. 5. A new Slideshow block will be added to your page at the bottom of theBlocks panel.
6. To add content to your slides, click on a slide in the preview area and then click Add Content in the Content panel that appears on the right. 7. To add an image to a slide, click Add Image in the Content panel and then select or upload an image from your computer. 8. To add text to a slide, click Add Text in the Content panel and then type your text into the text box that appears. 9. To set the order of your slides, click on a slide in the preview area and then use the arrows in the Order panel that appears on the right to move it up or down. 10. When you’re finished, click Save & Exit in the top-right corner of the site editor.
