When cropping an image in Adobe Illustrator CC, you have a few options:

1. Use the Crop tool.

2. Use the Selection tool and select the area you want to crop.

3. Use the Freeform Crop tool.

4. Use the Rectangular Marquee tool and draw a rectangle around the area you want to crop.

5. Use the Crop tool and drag the outline of the rectangle to the desired size.

6. Use the Freeform Crop tool and drag the cursor over the area you want to crop.

7. Use the Hand tool and drag the cursor over the area you want to crop.

8. Use the Magic Wand tool and click over the area you want to crop.

9. Use the Type tool and select the text you want to cropped.

10. Use the Selection tool and select the area you want to type into.

PRO TIP: Crop tool in Illustrator is used to hide the areas of artwork that fall outside the rectangular marquee. It doesn’t actually crop or remove the excess from your artwork. If you want to permanently remove the excess areas of your artwork, use the Artboard tool to resize your artboard.
