How Do You Delete Feedback on UpWork?

There are a few different ways that you can delete feedback on UpWork. You can either delete the feedback yourself, or you can ask UpWork to delete the feedback for you.

If you delete the feedback yourself, it will be permanently deleted and you will not be able to recover it. If you ask UpWork to delete the feedback, they may be able to recover it for you.

To delete feedback yourself:

  1. Log into your UpWork account and go to the “My Jobs” tab.
  2. Find the job that has the feedback that you want to delete and click on it.
  3. On the right side of the page, under the “Feedback” section, click on the “Delete” link next to the feedback that you want to delete.
  4. A pop-up window will appear asking you to confirm that you want to delete the feedback. Click on the “Delete Feedback” button.
  5. The feedback will be permanently deleted and you will not be able to recover it.

To ask UpWork to delete feedback:

  1. Log into your UpWork account and go to the “Help” tab.
  2. Click on the “Submit a Ticket” button.
  3. In the “What can we help you with?” drop-down menu, select “Feedback. “
  4. In the “Description” field, explain why you want UpWork to delete the feedback and provide any relevant details.
  5. Click on the “Submit” button.
PRO TIP: If you are considering deleting feedback on Upwork, be warned that this may have negative consequences. Feedback is one of the key ways that freelancers are able to build trust and credibility with potential clients, and deleting it may make it difficult to find work in the future.
