How Do You Get Material Icons in Figma?

There are multiple ways to get Material Icons in Figma. The first way is to use the Google Material Design Icons library.

Go to File > Add Library, and search for “Google Material Design Icons”. Click on the library and press “Add to project”. Once the library has been added, you can browse through all the icons and drag-and-drop them into your project.

Another way to get Material Icons is through Figma’s own icon library. To access this, go to File > Add Library and search for “Figma Icons”.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that Figma does not support Material Icons natively. If you’re looking to use Material Icons in your Figma design, you’ll need to use a plugin or custom code.

Click on the library and press “Add to project”. This will give you access to a wide range of icons, including Material Icons. Simply browse through the icons and drag-and-drop the ones you want into your project.

You can also use third-party icon libraries to get Material Icons in Figma. A popular option is FontAwesome, which has a wide selection of icons available.

To use FontAwesome in Figma, go to File > Add Library and search for “FontAwesome”.
