There are a few ways to go to the next line of text in Photoshop. You can use the “Return” or “Enter” keys on your keyboard, or use the “Arrow keys” on your keyboard. You can also use the resizing pill handles to automatically push a text to the next line.

To use the Enter/Return key:

Place your cursor at the end of the line of text you want to break.

Then, press the “Return” or “Enter” keys on your keyboard.

This will create a new line of text below the line you were just working on.

To use the “Arrow keys” on your keyboard:

Place your cursor at the end of the line of text you want to break.

Press the “Page Down” arrow key on your keyboard. This will make the cursor go to the next line of text.

To use the Resizing Pill Handles:

Simply click and drag on the resizing pill handles around the text.

NOTE: If you can’t find the resizing pill handles, you need to enable the Transform Tool by selecting it from the Edit menu or simply using the “Ctrl+T” keys on your keyboard.

This will automatically push your text to the next line of text.

The return key is probably the easiest way to create a new line of text. Simply place your cursor at the end of the line of text you want to break and press “Enter.” A new line of text will appear below what you were just working on.

If you want more control over where your new line appears, you can use the arrow keys on your keyboard, specifically the Page Down key. After pressing on it, a new line will be inserted where your cursor is currently positioned.

Finally, if you want even more control, or if you’re working with very long lines of text, you might want to use Photoshop’s resizing pill handles. To use this, you need to enable the Transform tool which can be found under the Edit menu. This will automatically push your text to the next line of text. It also inserts a hard break at your cursor’s current position- meaning that any text entered after this point will always appear on a new line, regardless of how long or short that line may be.

PRO TIP: If you are working in Photoshop and need to go to the next line of text, be sure to first select the Type tool from the Toolbar. Then, click on the location in your document where you want to start a new line of text. Finally, press Enter/Return on your keyboard to create a new line.
