How Do You Hide Guidelines in Figma?

Last updated on September 28, 2022 @ 10:45 pm

Figma is a vector drawing and animation software that allows you to easily create designs for your websites and applications. One of the great things about Figma is that you can hide guidelines in your designs to make them more clean and organized. Here’s how you can do it:

PRO TIP: If you are working on a design in Figma and need to hide the guidelines, be aware that this will also hide the grid. This can make it difficult to align objects and can cause problems with spacing.

To hide guidelines in Figma, simply select the guideline you want to hide and press the “Hide” button in the toolbar. The guideline will be hidden from view but will still be there if you need to unhide it later. You can also hide all guidelines by selecting the “Hide All” option in the toolbar.

Hiding guidelines can be helpful if you want to focus on a specific area of your design or if you want to make your design look more clean and organized. Try hiding some guidelines in your next Figma project and see how it goes!
