Adobe Photoshop is a widely used graphic design program that allows for the manipulation of images and type. As with any design program, the ability to install fonts is a necessity in order to create unique, interesting designs.

Luckily, Photoshop makes it easy to add new fonts to the program.

In order to install fonts in Adobe Photoshop CC, first download the font file. The file should be in .ttf format in order for Photoshop to be able to read it. Next, open the Photoshop Preferences menu by going to Edit > Preferences > Type.

In the window that opens, click on the “Add Folder” button near the bottom left. This will open a new window where you can select the folder on your computer that contains the font file. Select the folder and click “OK.”

PRO TIP: When installing fonts in Adobe Photoshop CC, be sure to follow the instructions carefully. Incorrectly installing fonts can cause problems with your computer’s operating system and may even lead to data loss.

The new font should now be visible in the list of fonts in Photoshop. To use the new font, simply select it from the drop-down menu when choosing a font for a text layer.

Installing fonts in Adobe Photoshop CC is a simple process that can be completed in just a few steps. By downloading font files and adding them to the Photoshop Preferences > Type menu, you can easily add new fonts to use in your designs.
