When you’re working on a design project, there are often times when you need to join two frames together. This can be for a variety of reasons, such as wanting to create a continuous background or wanting to move an element from one frame to another. Whatever the reason, it’s easy to do in Figma.

To join two frames together, all you need to do is select both frames and then click on the “Join Frames” button in the toolbar. This will merge the two frames into one and you can then move them around as one element.

PRO TIP: If you are not careful when joining two frames in Figma, you could end up with misaligned or overlapping objects. Make sure to check your work carefully before exporting or sharing your file.

If you want to keep the frames as separate elements but want them to be aligned, you can use the “Align” button in the toolbar. This will allow you to align the frames horizontally or vertically. You can also use the “Distribute” button to evenly space out the frames.

Joining and aligning frames is a quick and easy way to tidy up your design projects in Figma. Give it a try next time you’re working on a design and see how it can save you time.
