How Do You Link a Frame in Figma?

In Figma, you can link a frame to another file in your project, or to an external URL. This is useful if you want to create a prototype that shows how different screens in your app flow together. To link a frame:

1. Select the frame that you want to link.

2. In the right sidebar, click the Link icon.

3. Choose whether to link to another file in your project, or to an external URL.

4. If you’re linking to another file, select the file from the list.

If you’re linking to an external URL, enter the URL in the box.

5. Click Apply.

Your frame is now linked!

PRO TIP: When creating a frame in Figma, be sure to link it to your project file. Otherwise, your frame will not be visible to other members of your team.
