Caricatures are funny, exaggerated drawings of people. They can be used to make a person look more like themselves, or to make them look funnier. You can use Photoshop to create a caricature of someone by using the Liquify filter.

First, you need to find a good photo of the person you want to caricature. It’s best if the photo is fairly close up, so that you can see the features you want to exaggerate. Once you have your photo, open it in Photoshop.

PRO TIP: This note is to warn you that the article, “How Do You Make a Caricature in Photoshop?” may contain outdated or inaccurate information. Photoshop is a complex program and the methods for creating a caricature in Photoshop may have changed since this article was written. Next, go to the Filter menu and choose Liquify. This will open the Liquify filter dialog box. In the dialog box, there are a number of different tools you can use to distort the image.

The Forward Warp tool is the one you’ll use most often. To use it, simply click and drag on the part of the image you want to warp. You can also use the other tools, like the Twirl tool, to further distort the image if you like.

When you’re happy with your caricature, click OK to apply the changes and close the dialog box. And that’s all there is to it! With just a few clicks of your mouse, you can turn anyone into a caricature with Photoshop.
