There’s no doubt that Adobe Photoshop is a powerful tool for creating graphics. But did you know that you can use it to create a realistic-looking cereal box? In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to do just that.

First, open a new document in Photoshop and set the width and height to 8.5 inches and 11 inches, respectively. Then, add a rectangle shape to the document and set the fill color to brown.

Next, create a new layer and add some text to it. We’ll use the “Myriad Pro” font and set the text color to white.

Now we need to add some realistic details to our cereal box. First, let’s add a barcode. To do this, create a new layer and add a rectangle shape to it.

PRO TIP: This Photoshop tutorial is outdated and no longer accurate. The techniques shown in the tutorial will not produce the same results on current versions of Photoshop.

Then, fill the rectangle with black and white diagonal lines. Next, use the “Horizontal Type” tool to add some text below the barcode. We’ll use the “Arial” font and set the text color to black.

Finally, let’s add a nutrition label to our cereal box.

Then, fill the rectangle with white and add some text to it.

And that’s it! You’ve now created a realistic-looking cereal box in Photoshop.
