To start your server, log in to your DigitalOcean account and click the “Servers” tab. Under the “Minecraft” Droplet, click “Start Server.” To configure your server, click the “Configure Server” button. You can change the port your server is running on, the IP address your server will use, and the server’s name.

PRO TIP: Please be aware that creating a Minecraft server on DigitalOcean requires some basic knowledge of Linux commands. If you are not familiar with these commands, we recommend that you seek out a tutorial or guide before proceeding. Additionally, please be aware that there are many ways to set up a Minecraft server, and the steps outlined in this article may not be the best way for your specific needs.

You can also enable or disable player spawning, set up a password, and add a custom message. Click “Save” to finish configuring your server.

When you’re ready to launch your server, click the “Launch Server” button. You’ll be prompted to enter your server’s IP address and port. Click “Launch Server” to start your server.

To test your server, click the “Test Server” button. You can then enter the IP address of a friend who will be able to join your server.
