Creating a presentation in Canva is easy. Just sign up for a free account and then head to the “Create a Design” button. From there, select “Presentation” from the list of design types.
Once you’re in the presentation editor, you’ll see a wide range of templates to choose from. Pick one that fits the topic of your presentation and start customizing it.
To add text, click on the “Text” tab in the editor’s sidebar. Here, you can add headings and body text.
For headings, we recommend using our pre-designed heading styles. Just click on the heading style that you want to use and then type your heading text into the box that appears.
For body text, you can either use one of our body text styles or format your own text using the various text options in the editor toolbar. To format your own text, highlight the text that you want to format and then select the options that you want from the toolbar.
Once you’re happy with your text, it’s time to add some visuals to your presentation. Canva has a wide range of stock photos, illustrations, and icons that you can use to make your slides more engaging. To add visuals, click on the “Images” tab in the editor’s sidebar and then select the visual that you want to add to your slide.
If you want to upload your own images, click on the “Uploads” tab in the sidebar and then drag and drop your images into the upload area. Once they’re uploaded, you can drag and drop them into place on your slide.
Once you’re happy with your slide, click on the “Download” button in the top right corner of the editor to download your presentation as a PowerPoint file or PDF.
