How Do You Make a Slideshow on Wix?

Last updated on January 3, 2023 @ 12:46 pm

Nowadays, we use slideshows as a presentation tool for various purposes. From sharing memories with friends and family to presenting business proposals, slideshows are extremely versatile and come in handy more often than you’d think! If you’re new to the world of slideshows, or just want to brush up on your skills, read on for a beginner’s guide on how to make a slideshow on Wix.

1. Choose a template

GREAT NEWS:

Exciting update! We've collaborated with Wix to offer WBI users with a free plan for all website creation needs - Explore the details here.

The first step to creating a slideshow is to choose a template.

Wix has a wide selection of templates to choose from, so you’re sure to find one that fits your needs. To choose a template, simply log in to your Wix account and click on the “Create New Site” button. Then, select “Slideshow” from the list of options.

2. Add your photos

Once you’ve chosen a template, it’s time to add your photos!

To do this, click on the “Add Images” button and select the photos you want to use from your computer. You can also add text, videos, or other multimedia content to your slideshow by clicking on the “Add Media” button.

3. Customize your slideshow

Now that you’ve added your content, it’s time to customize your slideshow.

You can change the order of your slides by clicking and dragging them around. You can also add transitions and animations by clicking on the “Transitions” and “Animations” tabs. And don’t forget to add a title and description so your audience knows what they’re looking at!

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Wix, we recommend that you do not attempt to create a slideshow on the platform. Slideshows can be complex to create, and Wix is not designed for users who are not familiar with web development.

4. Preview and publish

Before you publish your slideshow, be sure to preview it first!

This will allow you to catch any errors or make any changes before making it live for everyone to see. Once you’re happy with how it looks, click the “Publish” button and share your slideshow with the world!
