Spiral galaxies are some of the most beautiful objects in the night sky. They are also some of the most photogenic. If you have ever wanted to create your own spiral galaxy, but didn’t know how, then this tutorial is for you. With just a few simple steps, you can create your own stunning spiral galaxy in Photoshop.

The first step is to create a new Photoshop document. Set the width and height to 1000 pixels and the resolution to 300 dpi. Then, fill the background with black.

Next, we need to add some stars. Create a new layer and then select the “brush tool”. Choose a small, soft brush and set the color to white. Then, click and drag your mouse across the canvas to create some stars.

Try to vary the size and density of the stars to give your galaxy a more realistic look.

Now we need to add some nebulae. Create another new layer and again select the brush tool. This time, choose a larger, softer brush and set the color to light blue. Once again, click and drag your mouse across the canvas to create some nebulae.

Finally, we need to add a spiral arm to our galaxy. Select the “pen tool” and set it to “create work path”. Then, draw a curved line that starts at the center of your galaxy and spirals outwards. When you are happy with your spiral arm, right-click on the path and select “stroke path”. Choose a small, soft brush and set the color to light blue. This will give your spiral arm a more realistic look.

And there you have it! Your very own spiral galaxy.
