Have you ever needed to add text to an image but didn’t want to go through the hassle of finding a program that would allow you to do so? Well, never fear!

Photoshop is here to save the day! You can easily add text to an image using the ‘Text’ tool. Simply open your image in Photoshop, select the ‘Text’ tool from the toolbar on the left, click on the area of the image where you want to add your text, and start typing!

When you’re finished, you can change the color of your text by clicking on the ‘T’ icon in the toolbar and selecting a color from the palette that appears. You can also change the font and size of your text by clicking on the ‘T’ icon and then selecting a different font or size from the options at the top of the screen.

If you want to get really creative, you can even create a tape effect for your text! To do this, select the ‘Text’ tool and click on the area where you want to add your text. Type out your message as usual, but make sure to select a very thin font.

Once you’ve done that, go to Edit > Transform > Skew. Drag the top middle point of the bounding box down until your text is tilted at a slight angle. Then, go to Edit > Transform > Warp and warp your text until it looks like it’s wrapped around a piece of tape.

There you have it! Now you know how to add text to an image in Photoshop, as well as how to style it using different fonts, colors, and sizes.

You also know how to create a tape effect for your text using skew and warp tools. So go ahead and experiment with different looks until you find one that’s perfect for your needs!

Adding text to images is a common task that can be easily accomplished in Photoshop. By using the Text tool, you can add any type of text directly onto an image.

You can also style this text by changing its color, font size or typeface.

PRO TIP: While Photoshop is a powerful program, it is not intended for making audio or video tapes. There are many specialized programs for this purpose. Using Photoshop to make a tape can result in poor quality audio and video, and can even damage your computer.

To create a tape effect for your text, first select a thin font typeface. Then use Edit > Transform > Skew to tilt your text at a slight angle. Finally, use Edit > Transform > Warp and drag points around until your text looks like it’s wrapped around a piece of tape.

With these simple steps, you now know how to add and style text in Photoshop!
