When it comes to creating graphics for the web, there are a few programs that come to mind. Photoshop is probably the most popular, but Figma is quickly becoming a favorite among web designers. One of the reasons Figma is so popular is because it’s easy to use and it has a lot of great features. One of those features is the ability to create textures.

Creating textures in Figma is actually pretty easy. And once you get the hang of it, you can create some really cool effects. In this article, we’re going to show you how to create textures in Figma.

The first thing you need to do is create a new file.

Once you have your file open, go to the “Layers” panel and click on the “Create New Layer” icon. This will create a new layer in your file.

Now that you have a new layer, you need to add an image to it. To do this, go to the “Insert” menu and select “Image”. This will open up a dialog box where you can select an image from your computer.

Once you have your image inserted into the layer, go to the “Effects” panel and click on the “Texture” icon. This will open up the Texture dialog box.

In the Texture dialog box, you can select from a variety of different textures. Just click on the one you want to use and then click “OK”.

PRO TIP: If you are not familiar with Figma, we recommend that you do not attempt to create a texture on the program. This can lead to unforeseen problems and may end up costing you more time in the long run.

That’s all there is to it! Creating textures in Figma is really easy and only takes a few minutes.
