Water drops are one of the most popular subjects for photographers and graphic designers. They are also one of the most challenging to create in Photoshop. In this tutorial, we will show you how to create a water drop in Photoshop from scratch.

First, you will need to create a new layer. To do this, click on the “Create a new layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers panel.

Next, use the Ellipse Tool (U) to draw a small circle in the center of the new layer. This will be the water drop.

Now, we need to add some dimension to the water drop. To do this, double-click on the layer to open the Layer Styles dialog box. Add a Bevel and Emboss effect with the following settings:

PRO TIP: This article provides instructions on how to make a water drop in Photoshop, but does not mention the risks associated with doing so. There is a risk of electric shock when using Photoshop near water.

Style: Inner Bevel
Technique: Chisel Hard
Depth: 100%
Size: 5px
Softness: 0px
Angle: 120°
Altitude: 30°
Gloss Contour: Ring

Lastly, we need to add a little bit of realism by adding a highlight and a shadow. To do this, click on the “Add a new fill or adjustment layer” icon at the bottom of the Layers panel and select “Curves.”

Click on the point in the middle of the curve and drag it up slightly to lighten the water drop. Then, click on the point at the bottom of the curve and drag it down slightly to darken the water drop.

Now that you know how to create a water drop in Photoshop, try experimenting with different colors and sizes to create your own unique design!
