A vignette is a popular effect used in photography and design to draw attention to a particular area or element in an image. In Photoshop, you can create a white vignette to highlight a central subject, or to give an image a softer, dreamy look.

There are several ways to create a white vignette in Photoshop. One way is to use the Elliptical Marquee Tool to draw an oval selection around the area you want to highlight. Next, click the Select>Inverse menu item to invert the selection. With the inverted selection active, click the Add Layer Mask button at the bottom of the Layers panel.

Another way to create a white vignette is to use the Gradient Tool.

First, make sure the Foreground and Background colors are set to their defaults of black and white. Then, select the Radial gradient type from the options bar. Click and drag outwards from the center of your image to create a gradient. Lastly, add a layer mask and inverse the selection as described above.

You can also create a white vignette using a Levels Adjustment Layer. Go to Layer>New Adjustment Layer>Levels and drag the middle slider towards the right until you achieve the desired effect.

Conclusion:

There are many ways to create a white vignette in Photoshop. Which method you choose will depend on your personal preferences and the look you are going for in your image.
