Wooden brushes are one of the most popular types of brushes used in Photoshop. They can be used to create a variety of different effects, from subtle shading to more dramatic lighting effects. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to create a wooden brush in Photoshop.

First, open a new Photoshop document and create a new layer. Then, select the Brush tool from the Toolbox.

PRO TIP: This article provides instructions on how to make a wooden brush in Photoshop. However, it is important to note that these instructions are for advanced users only. If you are not an advanced user, you may damage your computer or Photoshop software by following these instructions.

Next, choose a soft-round brush from the Brushes palette. Now, set your Foreground color to black and your Background color to white.

To create the wooden brush effect, begin by painting a black line down the center of the layer. Then, use the white color to paint over the black line, creating a woodgrain effect. To add more depth to the effect, use a darker shade of black for the outer edges of the grain.

Once you’re happy with the effect, go to Edit > Define Brush Preset. In the dialog box that appears, name your brush and click OK. Your new wooden brush is now ready to use!
