Inner shadows are a type of shadows that are cast inside an element, on its inner side. They are commonly used to give depth to buttons, cards, and other UI elements.
In Figma, you can create an inner shadow by selecting the element you want to add the shadow to, and then going to the “Shadows” section of the “Properties” panel. From here, you can add a new inner shadow by clicking on the “+” icon.
When adding an inner shadow, you can set its color, opacity, x and y offset, spread, and blur. You can also choose whether the shadow is cast only on the inside of the element (inner only), or if it’s also cast on its edges (inner and outer).
Once you’ve added an inner shadow, you can adjust its properties by clicking on the pencil icon next to it. You can also delete it by clicking on the trashcan icon.
Inner shadows are a great way to add depth and dimension to your designs. When used sparingly, they can make a big impact. So experiment with them and see what looks best for your project!
