There are a few different ways that you can make something look raised in Photoshop. One way is to use the Bevel and Emboss tool.

To do this, first make sure that your layer is selected. Then, go to the Layer Styles menu and select Bevel and Emboss.

In the Bevel and Emboss window, you can adjust the direction, depth, size, and softness of the bevel. You can also select an up or down direction. Up will make the bevel go towards the top of the layer, while down will make it go towards the bottom.

Another way to make something look raised in Photoshop is to use the Drop Shadow tool. To do this, go to the Layer Styles menu and select Drop Shadow.

In the Drop Shadow window, you can adjust the opacity, angle, distance, spread, and size of the shadow. You can also select whether you want it to be a hard or soft shadow. Hard shadows have well-defined edges while soft shadows are more blurred.
