Sub badges, also called “subscriber badges” are little icons that a Twitch channel owner can place next to the name of certain subscribers in the live chat. This is a way to give recognition to those viewers who support the channel with their subscription. Subscribers can also use these badges in their own personal chat when they are chatting with other people on Twitch. There are three different types of sub badges:
1. Tier 1 Sub Badges
The first type of sub badge is the Tier 1 sub badge. This badge is given to a subscriber who has been subscribed to a channel for at least one month. The badge looks like a little star and has the word “subscriber” written underneath it.

The second type of sub badge is the Tier 2 sub badge. This badge is given to a subscriber who has been subscribed to a channel for at least six months. The badge looks like a little crown and has the words “super subscriber” written underneath it.
3. Tier 3 Sub Badges
The third and final type of sub badge is the Tier 3 sub badge. This badge is given to a subscriber who has been subscribed to a channel for at least one year. The badge looks like a little diamond and has the words “mega subscriber” written underneath it.
There are two ways that you can make sub badges on Canva:
1. The first way is by using Canva’s built-in Twitch Sub Badge templates.
To do this, simply sign up for a free Canva account and then search for “Twitch Sub Badge” in the search bar. This will bring up a selection of templates that you can use to create your badges. Once you’ve found a template that you like, simply click on it and then edit it to customize it to your liking. When you’re happy with your design, simply download it as an image file or share it directly to your Twitch channel.
2. The second way is by creating your own Twitch Sub Badge from scratch.
To do this, simply sign up for a free Canva account and then click on the “Create A Design” button from the homepage. Next, select “Custom Dimensions” from the drop-down menu and enter “72” for both the width and height fields. Then, simply click on the “Create New Design” button and you will be taken to your blank canvas workspace. From here, you can add text, images, shapes, and other elements to create your own unique Twitch Sub Badge design.
